Dr. Hart is a member of the Advisory Board of Near Earth LLC and a satellite industry consultant. Formerly, he was president of Loral Skynet where he led a seven-year growth of that business as it became one of the leading global satellite operators. Dr. Hart began his career at Bell Telephone Laboratories where he designed electronic power equipment, led the development of the first certified multi-level secure version of the UNIX operating system, established a technical support business in Stockholm, Sweden, and was responsible for the engineering and operations of AT&T’s Telstar satellite fleet. While on leaves of absence from AT&T, Dr. Hart was also a US Air Force fighter pilot and a NASA astronaut.
